Food was very good. I had fillet of beef "Rossini" which is a classic dish served with foie gras. The meat was a little bit more done than requested but tasted good along with a slab of delicious food gras. The accompanying peppers and mushrooms were excellent. Maybe needed a little more sauce to bind if together. My partner's duck was perfectly cooked and had a deliciously fragrant sauce - another classic. The highlight was a fig dessert which was technically well made and utter demolished. Their house champagne was delicious as were the wines. Service was impeccable and kudos for figuring out the language barriers.

We were looking for a place to have lunch in Nimes and were lucky to have a seat available at La Table. The place offers French cuisine for an affordable price. The food was great and fully met our expectations. Staff was very friendly and attentive. And even though the restaurant is not in the centre of town, it is close to Jardin de la Fontaine and you best combine a visit of the restaurant to see these beautiful gardens.

Fabulous meal in all respects. Professional service, charming room and fabulous food. We had the foie gras and the salmon gravlax as starters and both of us had gambas for our main courses and the raspberry ‘trompe l’oeil’ dessert. The gravlax was remarkable for the delicate flavours and a perfect combination of textures; the foie gras was equally wonderful - smooth and flavourful. The gambas were perfectly cooked and beautifully presented with a melange of vegetables. I usually have no interest in desserts, as I don’t like sweet flavours, but thankfully ordered the raspberry trompe l’oeil as part of the menu. What an amazing combination - the ‘raspberry’ is a shell surrounding a raspberry mousse accompanied by a yoghurt sorbet, and not too sweet. Highly recommend this terrific restaurant in Nîmes. It’s a real delight.

We booked a table, we arrived 15 minutes late because we came from Barcelona and we found traffic in Montpellier and they didn’t serve us although I’m 6 months pregnant and they were able to see it. With this kind of behavior I foresee a bad future for them.

This is one of the best restaurants I have ever been. The food gras was delicious, the veal was divine and the lemon dessert was absolutely superb. My only regret is that I will only spend one night in Nines, and that I have only five stars to give.

Underwhelming... I don't understand all the positive opinions- the calamares without any taste, the kids menu with a soltless minced meat... No music, no vibes... I don't get why exactly people like this place so much...
